The Carnilove line for adult dogs has been formulated to be as close as possible to the original diet of dogs and their genetic ancestor, the wolf. Its diet consisted mainly of muscle meat, offal and is supplemented with the right proportions of wild berries, vegetables and herbs. Meat and fat from wild fowl and fish provide the vital nutrients adult dogs need to maintain optimal physical condition and a healthy immune system.

Reindeer meat has unique properties. It is one of the best sources of easily digestible protein and contains a beneficial composition of amino acids. Since reindeer feed on wild berries, their meat is exceptionally rich in natural antioxidants and contains little fat; the fat it contains is also unsaturated and therefore very beneficial. The omega-3 unsaturated fatty acid content of reindeer meat is similar to that of fish.
