Wolves hunt their prey in the Rocky Mountains of North America, the Arctic tundra, the mountains and forests of Europe and the deserts and steppes of Central Asia. They feed on meat and nutrient-rich offal, but also on vegetables, fruits, berries, roots and herbs through the stomach contents of the prey. Cereals are not included here. This is how the wolf gets its required vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes and secondary plant substances. As the wolf is the ancestor of all dogs, our Wolfsblut dry dog food is based on the natural eating habits of the wolf. It contains lots of meat or fish combined with superfoods that contain valuable ingredients - and just like in nature, completely grain-free. Our selection of exceptional meats and nutrient-rich superfoods is based on the wolf's habitat and its colourful food diversity. Wolfsblut offers every dog a species-appropriate and original diet and with its variety of types, there is something for everyone that they can tolerate. The recipe of GREEN VALLEY dry food combines the nutrition of the wolf with the latest scientific findings on proper dog nutrition.

The individual ingredients of GREEN VALLEY have been put together in collaboration with veterinarians, in line with the wolf's natural diet and the findings on holistic dog nutrition. The dry food from Wolfsblut is therefore unique.

•   Potatoes: They provide complex carbohydrates as well as fibre, are low in fat and have 15 different vitamins, minerals and trace elements such as magnesium, iron, zinc and phosphorus, as well as a high proportion of potassium, vitamin B and C.

•   Fennel: Fennel is rich in essential oils that are beneficial for digestion and intestines. It also contains vital substances such as potassium, vitamin A, folic acid, vitamin C and silicic acid.

•   Sea buckthorn: The orange berries have ten times as much vitamin C as lemons as well as vitamins B12 and E, which are responsible for strengthening the immune system.

•   Tomatoes: Despite their sour taste, they are considered alkaline builders because they are rich in alkaline minerals such as potassium, copper and iron.

•   Jerusalem artichoke: It contains a high proportion of inulin, which has a prebiotic effect and stimulates the growth of healthy bacterial strains in the intestine. A healthy intestinal flora has a positive effect on the immune system.

•   Rose hips: Rosehip is one of the most vitamin C-rich foods of all. In addition to vitamin C, rose hips also contain other vitamins and minerals. Above all, it shines with a high content of calcium, potassium and copper.

•   Aniseed: They are widely used as a home remedy due to the essential oils they contain, which are described as being antispasmodic, antibacterial and flatulence-relieving, among other things.
